Sitting way in the back corner of my last rug hooking class was a quiet student who drew little attention to herself.  Olivia told me she designed folk art dolls under the name Olive Rose. I was luck enough to see her home studio while I was in town.

I love repurposing vintage containers

My dye kitchen needed some vintage containers, since I have an old sink and reproduction faucet. I love the 50′s look and want to carry it through. So when I was looking for a container for the citric acid, I had just the container for the job.

I did not take a before picture and I really should have. The truth is, I really did not think that there would be an after picture for this old drafting table. I was ready to throw it into the garbage.

It takes a mountain

My formula is to take the size of your table and multiply it times 5 and that is about how much space your wool takes up no matter what sized rug you are working on. The concept of less is more does not pertain to wool.
