I am ready to take your order here at Primitive Spirit. Here is the desk where I fill orders. My dad was getting rid of this tiny old drawer and I thought it would make a great storage box. He saw dirty junk where I saw patina. It is holding the usual tools and my vintage scissors.
This bark cloth shoe rack is hanging next to my desk and is holding more of my tools and papers. I found it at a local vintage collectible shop several years ago. These are my colors!
Old flower pots sit on the windowsill and hold my balls of twine. I love wrapping packages with the colored garden twine. Garden stuff gives my workroom that potting shed feeling.
Over my desk hangs this vintage scale that I found at an antique shop in Ohio last year. Right now it is weighing my basket of felted strawberries. The old basket my grandparents brought back 50 or so years ago from a trip to Italy.
The felted fruit is embellished with French knots and wool fabric leaves. Part of the fun of this needle felting project was blending hand dyed fleece to make each strawberry unique.
Time has gotten away from me and I had better get orders out before the mailman comes!
Thanks for visiting. ~ Karen
