My dye kitchen is getting a workout as I have created two new colors for my etsy wool offerings.
Above is Gray Green, a muted dark green with greens and olive green and just a touch of petrol green. It is very neutral, perfectly suited to backgrounds.
The other new color I call Tree Frog, as it reminds me of little amphibian creatures! Dirty primitive dark greens interplay with cadmium yellow. Splashy and dramatically striated. This would hook a background full of variety.
Green is undoubtedly one of my favorite colors. Have you tried green with purple and orange?
Think: olive and leafy greens
with rust and chrysanthemum
and grenadine and dusty purples!
Thanks for stopping by ~ Karen
Gorgeous greens! You come up with the most beautiful color combinations ~ I’m always inspired when I see what you’ve been working on. 🙂
