With the new year comes re-evaluating my business and deciding what changes I may like to make. One thing I have decided to do is make my Etsy business bigger. I love Etsy as a creative marketplace, and it is so convenient to have a place to sell my patterns, books, and tools in one location. So today I have begun to add more of my catalog items to my Etsy shop. I would like to add everything from my catalog– which is daunting! If there is anything that you are particularly excited to see added to my shop sooner than later, send me a comment. I can’t promise that it will be added immediately, but I will try to put it toward the top of the list.
If you want to track my progress pop over to primitivespirit.etsy.com.
After all that work, I hope to have some time to create something! Here’s a hint from a fellow craftsman on Etsy, and I am going to take it to heart! How about you?
Be creative, Karen

That is the truth! Of course we wouldn’t be able to see your blog without the computer.

I would love to see more of your gorgeous dyed wool on your Etsy shop.😊

thanks for that comment. the wool will take a bit longer to get to as things are a jungle out there in the wool room!

thanks jenny for your comment. i will need more time to create the PDF format for new patterns, but they are definitely another major goal for me.

Great idea Karen to use Etsy to market additional items from your catalog. I would love to see more of your beautiful wool as well on etsy though I know it is very time consuming to be in the dye pot.

thanks marion. yes doing wool is more like one of a kind art, so listing it does take time.

I really need a mug like that! I get so engrossed into web sites, craft groups on Facebook, and last but not least…Pinterest. I am so interested in finding that great pattern, fabric, tool etc… That in reality is a time bandit! Oh wait…what time is it? 😉

It can be a challenge to find the right balance between tech and life. I deal with the pull of the computer and my phone daily. But the beauty of sites like your blog and Etsy is also such a wonderful way to connect to inspiration and wonderful goods. Also, just love that bird rug!!!
