Lazy day with a crochet hook in my hand
Crochet is the perfect project for a day that you are feeling a little sick. I have so much work to do, but can’t get my energy back after a week of being ill, so I comfort myself crafting a colorful and blissfully mindless crochet bag. I found this pattern a few weeks ago and have been dreaming of making it, pulling out my little snippets of leftover linen and cotton yarns so that it will be colorful.
Black and White
The graphic quality of black and white excites me. I have been working with this contrast lately and wanted to share with you a couple of projects that have turned out to be favorites. I went to the thrift store looking for a stool. I almost passed this one by. Imagine dark wood stain, overlooked by everyone because of its depressing blah everyday-ness. But I liked its bones, and it was sturdy with no structural issues.
